A Great Bead Store This is a great bead store: Beyond Beads 1251 Howard St, San Francisco, CA - (415) 861-1685‎ I was recently in San Francisco for vacation and since I love beading, I always check out the local bead stores wherever I go. I visited another store in the Castro district, but this one was far, far better in selection and customer service. You'll find very affordable, beautiful bead strands of almost any imaginable kind. They have an incredible selection of chain you buy by the foot. I bought several feet of different kinds and I have never before or since seen this kind of chain. Most unfortunately, the store does not do online business. If you are a beader, and you are in SF, you have to go to this place. Its fairly convenient to the Union Square area. I actually hoofed it over there from my hotel at Union Square and it was a 45 minute walk, but there are buses that will zip you by there in no time. Parking is also pretty easy to find in that area as well. Love the place.
